Fran Borre and her colleagues, Elizabeth Criswell and Lucille McAlister,
established “ELF Communication Productions” (“E”lizabeth,
“L”ucille and “F”ran) which produces interpreter
training videos/DVDs in order to help interpreters develop and improve
their skills. Fran, Elizabeth and Lucille each had Deaf parents and
were close friends for years. They are very skilled interpreters. Together,
they have had many years of experience with interpreting, establishing
standards for certification, and providing training. Their materials
